THE NEW ERA PINSTRIPE BOWL TROPHY TOUR

The 2012 New Era Pinstripe Bowl George M. Steinbrenner Trophy will be making a stop in Syracuse this weekend! Fans are welcome to come out on Friday, Dec. 7, and Saturday, Dec. 8, to take a picture with the trophy that will be awarded to the winner of this year's 2012 New Era Pinstripe Bowl between Syracuse and West Virginia on Dec. 29 (3:15 p.m., ESPN). Fans are encouraged to tweet their picture at the New Era Pinstripe Bowl's official Twitter account, @PinstripeBowl.

Below is the schedule of the 2012 New Era Pinstripe Bowl George M. Steinbrenner Trophy visit to Syracuse:

Friday December 7th:

8:00 a.m. - Tops Grocery Store on Nottingham Road in Syracuse
11:30 a.m. - Schine Student Center
5:00 p.m. - Red Robin Restaurant in Fayetteville, N.Y.

Saturday, December 8th:

9:00 a.m. - Dunkin Donuts (Location TBD)
10:30 a.m. - Clinton Square Ice Skating Rink (Weather permitting)
12:00 p.m. - SU women's basketball game vs. Loyola at the Carrier Dome
3:30 p.m. - Varsity Pizza
7:00 p.m. - SU men's basketball game vs. Monmouth at the Carrier Dome

The 2012 New Era Pinstripe Bowl George M. Steinbrenner Trophy will also be making an appearance on the "CNY Central Morning Show" at 6:30 a.m. and on "Upon Further Review" on ESPN 97.7 from 3-4 p.m. Follow the New Era Pinstripe Bowl on Twitter @PinstripeBowl, to keep up with the trophy's visit to SU and utilize the hastag #trophytour.
